Dominic's love affair with boats and all things to do with the river started at the tender age of 4 (back in the days of steam boats) living next to the river. After seven years as a civil engineer he joined Bray Marina in 1987 as Assistant Marina Manager and by the time he became Marina's Sales Manager, he was running the busy brokerage operation and wanted to branch out on his own. This coincided with Marina Development Ltd selling off their boat sales operation in early 1992. And so, on 1st August 1992 they opened their doors and Bray Marine Sales was born, with a listing of three boats at a total sales value of £25,000!... his love affair with river and boats endures. Dominic loves holidays on the Thames on his Aquanaut Dutch Steel Cruiser and hopes to spend summers on her cruising the French Canals when he eventually retires.
Simon has worked in the marine industry for 30 years for companies such as Bridge Boats, Caversham Boat Services and most recently as a skipper for Thames Rivercruise near Reading, driving their flagship the Caversham Princess a 75ft passenger boat. He joined TBS Boats Bray in 2006. Simon and his family can be found on days off cruising the upper Thames on their much loved and cared for Fairline Mirage
Having started his marine industry career at Penton Hook Marina as the yard boy in the early 1990s before training as a marine engineer, Lee has spent the last 30+ years in boat sales and marina management roles on the Thames. New boat sales has been his main passion selling most styles from dayboats to barges, and sportsboats to river cruisers. When not at work he can often be found day boating on the Thames in his Cranchi sportsboat.
Joe comes with a wealth of knowledge and is a qualified yacht broker with boating in his blood, before joining us he has worked for a local charter company in Henley and spent 6 years in yacht brokerage. Joe is ABYA trained in brokerage and new boat sales, holds a RYA helmsman certificate and has an excellent local knowledge of the Thames. Having been in the marine industry for some years, Joe has carved himself out a well-earned reputation for fair dealing and professionalism. Joe also specialises in good quality brokerage craft and deals with sales and distribution of the award-winning Balt Yachts, Alonsea, iSLOEP & GS Cruisers.
