Boat Description

The Semi-displacement Broom Ocean 34 was designed as a combined inland / coastal cruiser. It features wide decks, folding windscreens, and a commanding aft deck helm position typical of the range. The 34 layout comprises a forward V berth in addition to a well-specified aft master cabin and deck saloon. A sliding door from the saloon provides access to the side decks on the port side. Powered by a single Perkins Sabre M135l 135hp diesel with bowthruster. NEW aft-deck canopy Feb' 2024. Part exchange considered.

Accommodation

FORWARD

V-berth arrangement with storage space beneath; access to anchor locker through forward bulkhead; 2x 12v reading lights, port and starboard side; ventilation, and mirror.

FORWARD HEAD

Sea toilet, sink, shaver point, and mirror.

GALLEY

Spacious with s/s sink and H&C mixer tap and draining board; 3-burner gas hob, oven, and grill; fridge, 2x 240v sockets, water tank gauge, ample storage space in this area.

SALOON

With a large u-shaped settee, which will comfortably seat 4/6 people, and can be converted to an occasional extra berth. Sliding portside door giving access to side decks; cupboards including a drinks cupboard on portside and TV cupboard. Steps up to COCKPIT and down to AFT CABIN; the interior wood is striped sapele wood throughout.

AFT CABIN

Features an island bed with cupboards on both sides; dressing table to port with mirror and 3x drawers and hanging locker; 2x 240v sockets.

AFT HEADS

With shower and separate shower cubicle; electric toilet connected to holding tank (with sea discharge switch), wash basin, mirror, and shaver socket.

COCKPIT

Has helm position to starboard with 2x bucket seats; full engine and navigation instruments, chart table. This area is covered by a full canopy cover (with added elbows to enable lowering for low bridges). At the rear, you have bench seats with lockers underneath and detachable cushions with an additional drop-in seat; with access to the bathing platform; easy access to side decks and foredeck from cockpit.
