The Alonsea 560 Electric is powered by a 6kw motor with a large 8.3 kWh battery capacity (upgradable to a whopping 16.6 kWh!) offering a real-world full day's inland boating from a single charge.

Battery life & running costs:

The LiFePo4 battery has a quoted lifespan of 3,000 cycles at 80% DoD (Depth of Discharge). Using 80% capacity will provide approximately 4hours of constant cruising at 4 knots, so 3,000 cycles could be a theoretical 12,000 hours of boating.  The typical service interval for a petrol outboard is every 150 hours, so at 12,000 hours the petrol outboard should have been serviced 80 times. With a petrol outboard service costing around £300, that's a whopping £24,000!

The built-in charger requires no specialist infrastructure, as it uses a standard domestic 13a mains supply with a recharge time of 7.2 hours at an approximate cost of  Â£4.30 for a whole day's inland boating.

Packages with Yamaha 15-60hp petrol outboards are also available, please contact us for further details.

The Alonsea 560 with its modern lines, large social seating area, and excellent handling hull suitable for inland (Electric & Petrol) outboards, and fast coastal use with up to a 60hp (Petrol) outboard. This versatile day boat is suitable for water sports, fishing or just leisurely cruising.

The Alonsea 560 has an exposed outboard allowing you to tilt the engine and beach her, or to sit on a mooring that dries out. The outboard sits within the moulded bathing platforms, protecting the engine and allowing for easy transom access.

The rear helm position, whether the centre steering pedestal of the 560 or the console cleverly moulded into the port side of the boat on the 560Plus, provides excellent visibility without turning your back on your guests who will appreciate the generous seating area around a table with storage lockers below. The Alonsea 560 features two large sun pads ensuring there is enough space for everyone to relax, for added versatility the extra-long spray hood allows for overnight camping during the summer months using the comfortable forward sun pad.
